The list of specifications sent along with the render includes a 4.7-inch HD display (However, some leaks suggest a Full HD display) and says that the smartphone will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor. The list of specifications also include a 4,000mAh battery and suggest that the screen on the Motorola X Phone would be protected by Gorilla Glass 3. However, the rumored specifications which were leaked yesterday suggest that the screen on the Motorola X Phone would be protected by sapphire glass, which is three times more durable than Gorilla Glass.
The leak says that the Motorola X Phone will be IP57 certified, which means that it will be resistant to dust and water, just like the Sony Xperia Z while it also suggests that there will be no micro-SD card slot on the device, indicating that we might see the Motorola X Phone with various storage options like 16GB or 32GB (or even 64GB).
The dimensions of Motorola X phone is expected to be 131.2×66.7×7.9 mm.The gadget will be running with next version of Android O.S,rumored to be called Key Lime Pie v5.0.
We don’t yet know if the rendered image is real or it’s just some creative mind working overtime, but we have our doubts about it because as you can seen in the image, the smartphone misses the earpiece and there is a time difference of 2 minutes between what the widget shows and what is seen on the notification bar.
Though the authenticity of these leaks is questionable to say the least, but all these leaks suggest that the Motorola X Phone is indeed coming and you never know, Google might surprise us at Google I/O which is scheduled to take place in May.
